“Ring the Bell on the 7 Seas,” a Red Shoe Movement® Gender Equity global initiative
As we continue to find ways to amplify our mission and awaken the global community to reach a leap of consciousness in gender equity, we created the “Ring the Bell on the 7 Seas.” We conduct multiple ceremonies globally where participants read a Manifesto and ring a physical bell to indicate the need for more women in leadership, equal pay for equal work and equal distribution of power. Attendees join with red shoes and accessories.

The “Ring the Bell on the 7 Seas” is a symbol of a world joined by oceans and by travel. An experience that opens our minds. Helps us see new perspectives, different cultures, and ways in which people live and do things. Hopefully, an experience that leads us to understanding that every human being deserves equal treatment and respect.
History
On March 8, 2018 we rolled out the “Ring the Bell on the 7 Seas,” a Red Shoe Movement® Gender Equity global initiative, along with founding sponsor Celebrity Cruises (Royal Caribbean.)
In the following years, we added sponsors in different verticals, such as: Ultimate Software, The Panama Canal, Microsoft, Honeywell, Prudential, Toyota, and many others.
