Co-founder & CEO
Inna Braverman founded Eco Wave Power at the age of 24. Under her leadership, the company installed its first grid-connected wave energy array and secured a significant project pipeline of 404.7MW.
In July 2021 Inna Braverman led Eco Wave Power’s IPO on Nasdaq Capital Market (Stock Symbol: WAVE). Inna was recognized by Wired Magazine as one of the “Females Changing the World”, by Fast Company as one of the world’s “Most Creative People in Business for 2020” and is the winner of the United Nations “Global Climate Action Award”.
For Inna, clean electricity is a very personal journey, as she was born two weeks before the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster and suffered respiratory arrest due to the pollution in the region. Luckily, her mother, a nurse, came to her crib on time and gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, which saved her life. She got a second chance in life and decided to devote it to the development of a clean and safe method of electricity production. In 2024 we honored her with the Hall of Fame for being one of the very few women CEO in the energy industry.
Maribel Lieberman
CEO
The road to MarieBelle chocolates began beneath the palm trees of Honduras where a young girl made sugar candies that neighborhood children kept buying. Eight-year-old Maribel Lieberman was an instant entrepreneur. Her kitchen-made candy provided a business lesson that would one day bring a string of fine chocolate shops stretching from New York City to Kyoto, Japan.
At the beginning, there was a lot of learning to do. Lieberman’s first stop in New York was the famed Parsons School of Design followed by a spin in the fashion industry. Inspired by her childhood candy-making, and a belief that food could be delectable art, a 5-year-venture called Maribel’s Gourmet Cuisine was born. It was a seminal moment, igniting a passion that culminated in her first New York City storefront. The eclectic Lunettes et Chocolat sold designer chocolates and glasses. It helped her envision what was next. In 2002, Lieberman opened the original MarieBelle shop in Soho, thousands of miles and decades apart from the palm-lined neighborhood where she sold sugar candies. But her entire life story exists in the flavor-pairings and silken chocolates that draw loyal MarieBelle customers, who believe as she does, that art can be delicious. In 2024 we honored her with the Hall of Fame Award in recognition for her leadership in an industry where few women have gained her level of visibility.
