If you could suggest one action that organizations can take to accelerate the representation of women at the top, what would it be?
I believe supporting women organizations is very important as most of these organizations encourage and support women thinking that there are no barriers to move to the top, either by educating themselves or just reassuring their thought that “we can do it”
If you could suggest one action that women could take to accelerate their career growth, what would it be?

If you could suggest one action that organizations can take to accelerate the representation of women at the top, what would it be?
As a woman who has navigated through the male-dominated energy industry, I firmly believe that women’s voices and contributions are not just pivotal, but essential in shaping a more inclusive and equitable society, especially in fields like tech. Diversity in perspectives leads to innovation, and when women are empowered to bring their unique insights and skills to the table, we not only enhance the quality of decision-making but also create more sustainable and impactful solutions. By fostering an environment where women are encouraged to participate and lead, we can break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and pave the way for a future where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive.
If you could suggest one action that women could take to accelerate their career growth, what would it be?
I established Eco Wave Power at the very young age of 24 years. While it was scary stepping into this industry with no access to funds and no network, my message is that passion always prevails. Even in my hardest times, in which I was not taken seriously (as a young woman) I kept going and did not give up.
In terms of advice for other women aspiring to leadership roles in my industry, I would emphasize the importance of resilience and persistence. There will inevitably be setbacks and obstacles along the way, but don’t let them stop you from pursuing your goals. Instead, view them as learning experiences and opportunities for growth. Surround yourself with a supportive network of peers and mentors who have faith in your capabilities and can offer guidance and encouragement as needed.

If you could suggest one action that organizations can take to accelerate the representation of women at the top, what would it be?
Fostering specialized mentoring programs for women with the objective of strengthening skills and competencies, as well as working on the person’s main strengths. Successful mentoring helps increase the mentee’s self-esteem and confidence, driving maximum potential that impacts on leadership and decision-making skills.According to research the gender gap starts at the first level of management; it is here that we need to place focus to ensure that more woman move up the funnel. Working on just top management is not enough
If you could suggest one action that women could take to accelerate their career growth, what would it be?
- Try to be as clear as possible about your goals, design your own career plan and do not settle.
- Celebrate your achievements, no matter how minor you think they are.
- Be constantly reviewing your own definition of success. Success looks different for each person and changes over time.
Zainab Salbi - Founder Women for Women - Co-founder Daughters for Earth
If you could suggest one action that organizations can take to accelerate the representation of women at the top, what would it be?
Address the complexities of women’s lives in a real and practical way. Companies cannot say they want to have more women without properly addressing childcare, flexible schedules, the need for mental wellness, and other care. As long as we provide women safety, love, and understanding in their work environment, they will give the best of themselves. When companies say they want more women but don’t make efforts to tangibly address and respect women’s lives, no one can give the best of themselves.
If you could suggest one action that women could take to accelerate their career growth, what would it be?
Stay true to your heart’s desire and to your passion, creativity, and talents. You do not need to sacrifice what makes you joyful and creative in order to advance your career. It is possible to find a way to do both even if the speed of your advancement may be different than the typical career trajectory. That adjustment to the speed of the reward is worth it because it is about the journey of our career and what it brings us in personal satisfaction as well as professional growth and not about how fast we can get there without inner and personal satisfaction.
Andres Graziosi - Novartis
If you could suggest one action that organizations can take to accelerate the representation of women at the top, what would it be?
The representation of women at the top should be a goal of the entire organization, starting with the strong push from its shareholders and the Board. Interesting to me is to see that many very large investment funds are committed to sustainability and environmental impact, including clear KPIs to invest in a particular company or sector, but haven’t seen the same strong request when it comes to diversity and women representation.
If you could suggest one action that women could take to accelerate their career growth, what would it be?
I would suggest women to focus their work on their strengths and ability deliver on organizational goals, while keeping the organization fully aware of the unconscious biases of their leadership teams. Leadership Teams many times don’t see what they can’t see.
Charlie Rule - Bridgestone
If you could suggest one action that organizations can take to accelerate the representation of women at the top, what would it be?
One critical action is to accelerate conversation and initiatives around ‘non-traditional’ female career paths, as they can open new possibilities for women and advance their representation in the corporate workplace. This can be accomplished by implementing development platforms that will help women overcome personal and professional barriers, as well as improve their self-confidence. Bridgestone Latin America, for example, implements the ‘Red Shoe Movement’ and ‘Accelerated Women Development’ programs for women in business and support functions. Their main goal is to enhance professional development through networking and mentoring. ERGs are also a great tool, like the ‘BWIN’ we have at Bridgestone to serve as resource group for women and allies, with focus in support and best practices exchange.
If you could suggest one action that women could take to accelerate their career growth, what would it be?
Consistently utilize development platforms available in their companies in order to accelerate their career path, like developing and executing a plan that can take their current role to the next level. Empowerment and self-motivation are the secret ingredient. By considering available development tools to respond to the question ‘How can I drive my own development?’, women will find motivation to take action and seek mentoring, participate on ERGs, find opportunities for exposure to new roles, contribute in multidisciplinary projects and others.

If you could suggest one action that organizations can take to accelerate the representation of women at the top, what would it be?
To accelerate the representation of women, our male allies are essential. Create a charter and ask them to show their support by agreeing to it.
If you could suggest one action that women could take to accelerate their career growth, what would it be?
To accelerate career growth, I recommend using your voice – share with colleagues, loved ones, and those in charge in your organization the vision you have for the world. Let them know you are ready to contribute and to develop yourself as a leader.
