For the past 30 years Mariela has dedicated her time to help companies engage, develop and promote diverse talent while strengthening their DEI credentials in the market. Some of the companies she’s impacted positively include: McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, P&G, Novartis, MetLife, Microsoft, Colgate Palmolive, Honeywell, Bridgestone, Sodexo, and Celebrity Cruises. She has presented at Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University, The Conference Board, The College Board, SHRM, NSHMBA, ALPFA, and many other universities, and professional conferences. She’s a thought leader on topics related to leadership, DEI, career development, and women’s career advancement.
Among her most recent awards: In 2022 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Red Shoe Movement, she received a Special Citation by New York State Governor Kathy Huchul for the impact of her company and its initiative #RedShoeTuesday. In 2020 she received the “Leadership in D&I within an agency of any size” by the Public Relations Society of America; In 2019 she’s one of the top 100 global influencers on Gender Equality by Onalytica; In 2018 she received the “Visionary of the Year” award by the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Proclamations by the New York State Governor, the New York State Senate and several others. In 2017 she received the “Leadership in Diversity & Inclusion” award by LNC, a coalition of Employee Groups at major financial and media companies in the U.S. which include: Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Deloitte, The New York Times, Thomson Reuters, Prudential, and many others.

Marcelo is a trusted consultant to some of the most successful business people in the world. He has a rare ability to improve ideas and develop winning strategies which he has shared for the past thirty years with companies big and small. In between trips around the world on a cool sailboat, Marcelo shares his knowledge with passionate entrepreneurs he believes in. Gustavo Averbuj
Gustavo is partner, Regional Director Latin America of Ketchum Public Relations, one of the largest PR agencies in the world, and one of the most brilliantly creative people we know. He’s the winner of multiple industry awards including a CLIO and a Lion @ Cannes Creativity Festival – where he was also a judge-, a university professor and passionate about all things NYC. Considered a true innovator and thought leader in the PR world, Gustavo’s clients include many of the largest multinational companies in his native Argentina, such as Hilton, Clorox, 3M, Pepsico, Kimberly Clark and many others.

Alejandra Mastrangelo
Alejandra is an independent corporate board director, advisor, coach and mentor. She focuses on corporate identity and goverance. She’s the co-founder of Price Waterhouse Coopers’ Organizational Government program at IAE Business School in Argentina and co-founder of IGEP: Institute of Public and Corporate Governance. She is currently doing research on the role and participation level of women in corporate boards in Latin America. Since 2014, Alejandra is the Director of the Red Shoe Movement in Latin America. Her passion is to help women achieve professional success.

Teresa Correa
Teresa created our ambassadors program with her sheer enthusiasm for the Red Shoe Movement idea. Her passion and leadership served as the basis to create several generations of brand Ambassadors who put together and run our unique and wildly successful events. She’s worked as Consumer Insights Manager at Avon and at Coty, the French cosmetics company. She’s now Consumer Insights Senior Manager, Global, at Pfizer.

Annerys Rodriguez
Having been part of our first group of Ambassadors, Annerys worked closely with Teresa Correa and quickly became her “partner in crime”. Under her leadership, our platform has continued to attract young, ambitious women interested in developing their careers who see in our Ambassadors’ program an opportunity to do exactly that. Annerys works as Program Consultant, Global Diversity and Inclusion at MetLife.
