I’m sorry Madeleine Albright but “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women”!?
That must be one of the most dense things I’ve ever heard a feminist say. Can’t she see how many problems there are with that? If I help someone, it’s going to be out of kindness, not blind and bigoted loyalty.

Too many women see women as competition and work against seeing any woman succeed. There are women who would prefer to see women fail than see a woman be more successful than herself. These are the women that prevent us all from becoming the best that we can be.

I’m sorry Rose… I thought her point was perfectly made. It speaks to the specificity of not understanding that it needs to extend beyond mere kindness, to address the root cause from whence all discrimination originates. If you’d prefer it in the words of Michael Jackson… We need to start with “The Man in the Mirror.”
